2. Description of Services

gloom-rider provides private chef services, cooking workshops, meal planning, and culinary event services across the United Kingdom. Service availability, pricing, and specific offerings are subject to change without notice.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

Deposits: A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings. Deposits are non-refundable except in circumstances outlined in our cancellation policy.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is due seven (7) days prior to your scheduled event.

Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

4. Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellation:

• More than 14 days before event: Full refund minus £50 administration fee
• 7-14 days before event: 50% refund of total booking value
• Less than 7 days before event: No refund

gloom-rider Cancellation: In the unlikely event we must cancel, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

5. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

You must inform us of all dietary requirements, allergies, and intolerances at least 7 days before your event. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. You accept responsibility for communicating all relevant information to your guests.

6. Venue Requirements

You must provide:

• A clean, functional kitchen with working oven and hob
• Adequate counter space and basic utensils
• Running water and electricity
• Safe access to the property

If venue facilities are inadequate, we reserve the right to modify the service or cancel with full refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of gloom-rider or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use our website for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the website

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, gloom-rider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
